How to Tell if Your Child Has a Vision Problem
– Sitting close to the TV
– Squinting or blinking
– Closing an eye or covering an eye
– Drifting of one or both eyes
– Tilting or turning of head when looking at objects
– Losing their place while reading
– Finger-pointing while reading
– Reading below grade level
– Avoiding reading
– Rubbing Eyes
Other times, a child may not have any obvious signs of a vision disorder. They may rarely complain because their distorted visual world is “normal” to them.
