Nursing Home FAQ

How often will Ageless Eye Care visit a facility?

Visits to facilities are typically arranged monthly. Should the need arise for more frequent visits, this can always be arranged.

What is the facility responsible for paying?

Ageless Eye Care offers services at no charge to the facility.

What is the patient responsible for paying?

Ageless Eye Care bills the appropriate insurance on behalf of the patient. The patient will only be responsible for any co-insurance due. If the deductible on the insurance is not met or if we do not accept the particular insurance, the patient will be billed for the cost of the exam. Currently we accept assignment from Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

How long do the glasses take?

Glasses ordered through Public Aid generally take 6-12 weeks to process. Glasses bought privately will be delivered to the patient within 10 days. All glasses will be fitted and adjusted to the patient upon delivery.

Do I have to buy the glasses from Ageless Eye Care?

No. If desired, the doctor will provide a prescription that can be used to order glasses wherever you desire.

  • Drops
  • Laser
  • Surgery
  • Eye pressure should be checked every 3 months and dilated yearly
  • Side vision checked yearly
